Teaching learning process:

Apart from regular teaching methods which include standard classroom teaching, use of power point presentation, other visuals and non-traditional methods are used. Students are encouraged to engage in classroom-based group discussion on given themes.  The student-centric education encourages extensive use of dialogue and discussion during classes. Students are given field project in individual and a group.  Final year students are given research project. Students are practicing representative democracy through Mock Parliament, debate, panel discussion on contemporary issues. Tutorials and remedial classes for students conducted regular basis. In today’s digital era audio-visual programmes, multimedia and internet are used in exchange and growth of knowledge and information.

Association:
To conduct various departmental activities political science association was constituted. Political Science Association known as “Statecraft” is an open forum to share their opinion and ideas. Statecraft actively engaged in hosting a variety of events like discussions, guest lecturers, debate, mock parliament etc. to enhancing the learning experience for students in political science at Raghunath Girls’ Post Graduate College, Meerut.
