Teaching learning process:
Systematic, sequential, planned course of action on the part of both the teacher and learner to achieve the outcomes of teaching and learning. Methods adopted; Traditional methods, ICT tools.

Department at a glance (collage of departmental labs and classrooms):

The Department of Chemistry was established in 1958 at U.G. level with an objective of providing the key knowledge base and laboratory resources to prepare students for careers as professionals in various industries and research institutions and P.G. programme Course (M.Sc. Chemistry in Self finance) was started in academic year 2002. The Department already has five regular faculties and one more position is expected to be filled soon at U.G. level and three faculties at P.G. level.

Outgoing M.Sc. students find employment in leading pharmaceutical companies. Some of the M.Sc, students qualified in NET (JRF, SRF) and GATE examination. The Department has excellent working culture and facilities to carry out regular practicals. Department organizing extra-curricular activities such as celebration of Teachers Day, Traditional Day, study tour/field visit etc. for exploring the talent of students apart from academic ability and also focus on all around development of students.
