The college has a thriving research environment with 14 research-approved departments and 33 approved research supervisors and co-supervisors. Presently (2022-23), 68 teachers are with the highest qualification of Ph.D. and two are with D.Litt. 

HEI has completed 12 sponsored ( UGC/ DST/ ICPR/ ICHR/ICSSR) major projects, 12 minor projects, and one consultancy project since its first accreditation. In the last academic session, the faculty got approval for 02 UPDHE-sponsored minor projects besides two UPDHE-sponsored ongoing projects.

02 Post-Doctoral fellowships have successfully been undertaken under the guidance of two faculty members as well.

To facilitate more research, the research development cell (an IQAC initiative) encourages departments to organize various guest lectures, workshops, FDPs, seminars, and conferences.

The research output of the college has increased many folds since SSR's third cycle. (105 papers in UGC-listed journals, 94 peer-reviewed journals, 97 chapters in books, 23 books, and 06 research papers in conference proceedings).In the last completed academic year, 2021-22,12 research papers in UGC listed(Scopus and web of science indexed) and 79 in peer-reviewed journals, two edited books, and 24 chapters in edited books have been published. 

115 research Scholars are pursuing their Ph.D. under the faculty .0ut of these, 22 research scholars have been awarded Ph.D. and 16 new research scholars have been registered in the last academic session.
