Placement Cell
The College has established Placement Cell with the purpose of providing essential information and guidance to the students on the Campus for employment opportunities. The Placement Cell functions as a center for Career counseling and employment bureau.
Women Power Cell / Anti – Sexual Harassment Cell
The College has a full-fledged Women Cell on the Campus that has been performing the role of providing help and guidance to the female students on the campus besides listening to their complaints.
N.C.C / N.S.S / RANGERS
These are committees meant for the all-round development of students via activities linked to defence forces and society.
Health Care Centre and Wellness Centre
The college has a Health Centre (Medical Dispensary) located near the Hostel of the College. It is open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on all days except College holidays. A medical officer is available for consultation. In addition, a pharmacist is also available during working hours.
Student Canteen
To cater to the needs of the students, the college has a spacious and hygienic students’ canteen having the necessary infrastructure.
College Computer Centre
The Computer Centre is extending all need-based computational facilities to students, research scholars, faculty members, and college departments. Presently the center has one server. It has high-speed line printers.
Hostel
A three-floor, 250-bedded girls’ hostel with a well-equipped mess stands on the college campus with all modern amenities which ensure the security and well-being of students coming from distant corners of the state. This hostel was inaugurated by the Honourable First President of India, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, on 3rd January 1961. The Goddess of learning Maa Saraswati and Lord Shiva are enshrined in temples within the hostel campus. It has a bookstore, a PCO, and a photocopying facility for the students. A sanitary Napkin dispenser and incinerator are also available to the girls.
Student Council
It is a committee of the students, by the students, and for the students that is headed by a permanent teacher known as DSW (Dean Students Welfare).
Anti – Ragging Cell/ Proctorial Board/ Grievance Cell
It maintains discipline, controls ragging, and provides solutions to students’ grievances. It is headed by a Chief Proctor and controlled by Proctors from each department.
Internet Facilities
The college has created a Local Area Network which is connected to the INTERNET through a leased line. All the departments are connected through this Local Area Network. The computer laboratories of different departments also have internet browsing facilities. All departments of the college can use internet facilities by paying a prescribed fee from time to time. It makes available different scientific and academic journals through e- consortium managed by INFLIBNET and DELNET.
Sports Facilities
Basketball and Badminton Court, Gymnasium, and Yoga Room are available for faculty members and students.
Electricity and Civil Supplies
The College has a well-equipped electrical department catering to the needs of the administrative block, teaching departments, and hostels. We have the rare distinction of providing a 24X7 supply generation backup and electrical maintenance facility to all the departments, hostels, and offices on the campus. The college campus has round-the-clock running water supply.
