- Collection & Propagation of endangered and rare medicinal plants under PCS like Gingo biloba, Chnadan (Red), Kal vriksha, laxmi taru, Anticancer Plant, true bramhi and jal brahmi, vidhara, All spice, rudraksh paln, vajradanti, kala and pila bansa, Kalmegha (Bhui neem), Palash Marjoram, Hadjod, rose merry etc.

- Fruitful implementation of NEP-2020
- To start skill upgradation program (e.g. Herbal Nursery & Kitchen garden, Bio composting, Algal culture, Cacti grafting & Rockery )
- To enrich departmental library
- To develop digital Herbarium & E-flora
- Upgradation of UG and PG labs
- To apply for CSIR, UGC, DST Major/Minor research projects, DBT-Star College Scheme, and DST Curie
- To establish collaboration and MoU with various institutions for extension of academic and research work
