RG PG college nurtures holistic development by sensitizing students
to community issues, gender disparities, social inequality, and
environmental consciousness through diverse outreach programs. These
initiatives instil a sense of social responsibility and foster
active citizenship.
NSS, NCC, Rangers, and various clubs such as PWFSC, Vasudha EcoClub, and the Activity Club organize impactful activities, including
Shramdaan under Swachhta Hi Sewa, awareness rallies, poster
campaigns, and wall paintings. Cleanliness drives are conducted in
collaboration with local bodies in villages like Mohiuddinpur. NCC
cadets honour martyrs, participate in blood donation camps, and
rallies like "Meri Maati, Mera Desh." Educational visits to
Anganwadi centres and orphanages enhance community engagement.
Students engage in environmental initiatives during Van Mahotsav and
Road Safety Awareness Month. Water distribution camps and rallies on
environmental protection are highlights of the Rangers and Eco-Club
activities. Awareness campaigns on voting, gender sensitization, and
emergency handling emphasize critical societal issues.
Innovative activities include self-defence training, sanitary napkin
machine installations, thematic street plays on gender and health
topics. Celebrations of key days such as National Cancer Day and
International Peace Day,study tours, plant excursions, Kisan Melas,
provide experiential learning. Through these initiatives, RGPGC
promotes a balanced blend of academic excellence and social
consciousness.
