About Plant Conservation Society

The Plant Conservation Society of Raghunath Girls’ Post Graduate College, Meerut is a vibrant and committed  student-led  initiative  devoted  to  fostering  environmental  awareness, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable living. With the vision of nurturing ecological responsibility among students, the society actively works towards protecting and promoting plant life within the campus and beyond.

The society regularly organizes a wide range of activities, including tree plantation drives, medicinal plant awareness programs, clean and green campus campaigns, and celebrations of important environmental days such as World Wetlands Day, Biodiversity Day, World Environment Day and Van Mahotsav. The society has also contributed to herbal garden initiatives, promoting knowledge about the medicinal value of plants. Its outreach programs in nearby communities, schools and colleges have further strengthened environmental awareness at the grassroots level.
