The Rangers Unit of Raghunath Girls’ Post Graduate College, Meerut is a vibrant co-curricular wing dedicated to the holistic development of students. Functioning under the esteemed banner of the Bharat Scouts and Guides, the unit is specifically designed for senior girl students (Rangers) to cultivate discipline, leadership, and a spirit of selfless service.
Established in 1990 under the leadership Dr. Sarojini Vasan, the unit has consistently contributed to shaping confident, responsible, and socially aware individuals. It operates as a registered unit under the District Association and currently comprises 24 active Rangers, ensuring focused training and meaningful participation. The Rangers Unit actively engages students in a variety of enriching activities, including community service initiatives, environmental awareness campaigns, national development programs, and participation in training camps, workshops, and leadership development sessions. Through these activities, students develop essential life skills such as teamwork, self-reliance, leadership, and a strong sense of civic responsibility.
