About Sports

Sports play an important role in the holistic and competitive development of students at Raghunath Girls' Post Graduate College, Meerut. The college consistently encourage students to participate in sports activities, games, and athletic competitions alongside academic pursuits. The institution believes that sports not only improve physical fitness but also develop discipline, leadership, teamwork, confidence, and mental strength among students.

The college provides facilities for games such as basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, athletics, chess, kho-kho, kabaddi, Judo and sports. Special attention is given to encouraging female students to participate in competitive sports and fitness programs.

The college campus includes sports grounds, courts, gymnasium facilities. The sports office manages sports-related activities, competitions, equipment maintenance, and student participation in university-level tournaments. Regular practice sessions and annual sports events help students showcase their talents and improve their athletic performance.

Students of the college have participated successfully in inter-college, university, state, and national-level and International competitions. The institution motivates talented players by providing guidance, training support, and opportunities to compete at higher levels.
